Tango Masquerade Ball and Carnival

+TANGOSALON'S - TANGO & SALSA Masquerade Ball and Carnival - Fringe Festival Event 2010.

After many requests we have included Salsa and Performances in the early part of the evening program, what a night!
Elena - violinist and her band Simply Fantastic will perform live - passion, romance and a Venice style carnival atmosphere, its a new dimension to start the evening.

+tangosalon have some fantastic performers coming that night.......including World Premier's!!

Cecilia Trini and Matthew Civil (NZ), Cecilia comes from Buenos Aires/Rosario, Argentina with fantastic championship successes at Mundial in Stage and Salon, and a great performance/teaching background. We are very pleased to announce Cecilia and Matthew in their debut performance at the Ball.
Stephan Resch and Era Soukhin from Auckland, perform for the first time, they have fantastic musicality, grace and style, we are pleased to announce their debut performances at the Ball.
Alex and Jacinta from Wellington perform their new Stage Tango choreography to Osvaldo Pugliese's Patetico.
Kiwi Salsa from Wellington, Oliver and Alicia, and Estefan and Mereana perform Salsa at the Ball!!!

Nina's Milonga's
Hi all,

St. Andrew's Church Hall is closing for 5 months for renovations, so I have had to find an alternative location for my Saturday Milongas.

For the next few months the Saturday milongas will be at St. Marks Church School Hall, 11 Dufferin Street, Mt. Victoria. (Basin Reserve)

Note these dates in your diary (updated!):

+Tangosalons Sunday Milonga at Bodega

The new year 2010 will commence for +Tangosalon and Academy of Tango with the Masquerade Ball on 13th February.
Early bird tickets are selling for this Fringe Festival Event from Ticketek and ticket holders will be entitled to attend free tango classes for the two weeks prior to the ball.  Times and venue to be announced shortly.....  

The first Sunday Milonga at Bodega for 2010 will be on Sunday 21st February and a new session of classes will commence during the week after the Masquerade Ball in both Khandallah and Wadestown. Watch this space for details on those............

A Big thank you to everyone who has supported +Tangosalon's Milongas over the past year and helped in various ways, we have really appreciated your imput and enjoyed the process and of course had fun along the way,  which is why we dance tango.............
