 Hello dear dear friends!
We miss you so much!!!! We are studying hard and staying longer in BsAs than planned, until May. Please write to us, we love to receive your messages!
We are sending you a wonderful surprise, the very best thing we could think of one of our teachers! As you know we study at Estudio DNI Tango, the school of Dana Fri and Pablo Villarraza. At their school every day for the last three months, we have been again impressed with Pablo and Dana's relentless efforts to better articulate the body mechanics of their superlative grace. We are no less impressed with their ability to train young teachers to be precise, organized, purposeful, consistent, and generous. The school is very well respected in Buenos Aires and Europe for the thorough articulation of body mechanics, for the emphasis on follower's technique, and for the consistency of training of the teachers. However,Pablo y Dana tour mainly in Europe and this year are not traveling at all. And teachers from the school rarely travel independently.

Tango Red matinee at the Ruby lounge with special guests Café Tango.
Saturday 20th march 1pm – 6pm. $10 cover.
I actually think this is the best venue I’ve used for a tango gig (or salsa gig)
The floor is a to die for smooth wooden floor…..it’s quite big….lovely balcony and large glass doors down one side, so if it is a sunny day it’ll be lovely. Lovely red décor in the room.
The food there is actually great ( they have a very good Chef), so come along for lunch/tapas and tango away the afternoon……from 1pm – 6pm, so 5 hour’s of dancing for only $10.
We’ve got DJ Pachanga ( Tango Red founder on the music) and Tango café will play at least two sets…….possibly a special Tango Neo/Tango Nuevo slot for the last hour……
I think if we can get a good turn out and prove to the bar that there is a Tango audience here in Wellington there could be more events there…….
*Only $15 for the whole thing…tango from 1pm, samba at 6pm, salsa from 9pm……A Wellington Summer mini Latin festival.*
*Billl Vella*
