Yoga for Tango dancers

This workshop is on daily at 10am (11am on Sunday) and is a fabulous way to loosen up your body and learn about increasing your flexibility, strength and balance specifically for dance.

You can book for the Yoga fior Dancers workshops when you register or just prior to the workshop at the registration desk on the day. The cost is $20.00 per class at the desk. If you have a yoga mat please bring it as we have a limited number.

Massage at the festival

Just what you'll need! (especially the ones who have just dusted off their shoes after a year and are attempting 12 hours per day of tango...) see Kasha, our tango dancing massage therapist in the plaza at the festival to book in for 10 minutes or as long as it takes to sort out those feet...or your whole body.

Tango shoes, tango clothes, Festival T shirts

The plaza will be buzzing once again with high quality tango shoes, tango CD's and clothes, and of course the tango festival t shirt, new design, tango black...(just because no one except me liked the green ones last year...)

Ariadna and Fernando immersion course.

If it's still possible to take a couple of days off this will be the reason to do it, their reputation is spreading like wild fire world-wide for their beautiful salon style, and we are lucky to have them before Europe claims them for their own. There is space for leads and couples only, follower spaces are now full. Email us if you want to add the course to your festival pass or book on the registration page.  Also spaces available in Gustavo and Gisela course for leaders and couples.

Extra free shuttle from the Hotel this year.

Due to the popularity of the Festival Hotel we will be putting on an extra free shuttle to Te Whaea for guests, shuttle schedules will be available at the reception. Evening events are all a short walking distance.
