News: Workshops with Tony Lane - March 20th and 21st - Plan now to come. Tony teaches and dances in London. He was teaching in Dunedin 3 years ago for 8 days. He is a very good teacher and has a lot to offer dancers at all levels. We will have details of venue / costs / content over the next few days.

Our weekly lessons and practicas are held in the Hearing Association Hall, 7 Malcolm St, Dunedin. Malcolm St is a section of the one-way North between the Hospital and the Otago Museum. The Hearing Association is next to the School of Physiotherapy building between Frederick and Albany Streets.
Lessons.
Learn this sensual dance from Argentina with our teacher - Kylie James. All welcome, no dance experience necessary, come on your own or with a partner. From Wednesday March 24 Kylie will be co-teaching with guest teacher Tony Lane from London, for the next 8 weeks.
Wednesday Lesson:
7pm Level 2/3 - Kylie will teach two classes, March 10th and 17th before Tony arrives.
New Dancers:
A course for new dancers will start on Friday March 26th. Venue is The Hearing Association, 7 Malcolm Street; time 8.00 - 9.00pm. After the lesson there will be a mini practica for half and hour or longer ... If you are interested phone us on one of the numbers below and we can put you on our email list. Until March 26th, please feel free to come to the Tango Group practica on wednesday nights (see below). There are plenty of friendly people happy to show you what they know.
Cost for lessons:
Continuing lessons - casual $12.00, student (with ID) $10.00
Practica
We have a practica on Wednesday evenings after the lesson from 8.00 - 9.30ish. All tango dancers welcome. Come and enjoy the music and the company and try out all the moves you've been learning and try something new.
The cost is $5.00 and goes to the Tango group. This covers rent, tea/coffee & biscuits and also helps subsidise milongas and visiting teachers.
Social dancing
Sundays - Upstairs @ The Kensington Hotel 4.00 - 6.00/6.30pm
The Kensington Hotel is in South Dunedin, 4 King Edward St at the south end of the Oval.

Next Milonga is on Sunday 14th March @ 4pm
Drinks and food are available from the downstairs bar.
Our social dances are relaxed social events where we have a bit of fun - all levels are welcome to come along even if you just want to watch and have a coffee / wine. There is no entry fee, but please buy a drink, and perhaps try out their menu, to make it worth the hotel's while in having us there. Dress up or casual.
